We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Front Office Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess current X-ray certification and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Coordination of Benefits (COB) as well as effective treatment planning strategies. This role requires someone who can work autonomously with minimal supervision and has a strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of our practice.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
- Schedule appointments and manage the medical scheduling system efficiently.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient visits.
- Assist with medical billing processes, ensuring timely submission of claims.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and office policies.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
- Support the dental team with clerical tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
- Familiarity with Epic software is a plus, as it may be used for patient management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is required.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and insurance providers.
- X-ray certification
- Proficiency in documentation review, insurance verification, dental billing, and coding is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the office.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Availability for this role is required from Monday to Wednesday at our Cedar Mill location, and on Thursday at our Hillsboro location. The working hours are from 7:40 AM to 5:00 PM during the winter months and from 7:40 AM to 4:00 PM during the summer months.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.30 per hour
