Beignet Chef

Summary of Responsibilities:

Here at Beignets and Brew, we want to bring a positive, youthful, fun vibe while our guests stop by for a quick pick-me-up or a place to sit back and relax while enjoying our delicious beignets, coffee and beer/wine! We want to ensure our guests have a very memorable experience from the beginning to the end. This company started because of a simple beignet idea. Beignets are what we are known for – it’s even in our name! Your goal as a Beignet Chef is to inspire customers through your cooking and keep them coming back for more. We want our customers to be a part of the Beignets and Brew Family!

Essential Functions:

• Heats fryer up and makes sure oil is in temp.

• Uses a timer for certain products.

• Takes out frozen beignets and places them on baking sheets.

• Cut whole beignets into beignet bites.

• Warms up all sauces.

• Preps/stocks certain items throughout the shift.

• Keeps track of all ticket orders and ticket times.

• Cleans and sanitizes the designated station(s) and all equipment.

• Washes dishes.

• Takes out trash.

• Performs any additional tasks necessary to help Krewe members/managers.

Required Experience:

• Must be able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Carries a positive attitude to ALL Krewe members and managers, even while under pressure.

• Ability to maintain face-to-face interaction and communication with guests and Krewe members

• Ability to walk and stand throughout the shifts.

• Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• May be required to work late nights, weekends & holidays.

• Guest may want to sit on the patio area outside (weather permitting) and patio area needs to be cleaned and presentable at all times.

• Krewe members must be in full uniform and appropriate hygiene is required.
