BrightKey is looking for a hands-on, roll up your sleeves Human Resources Manager who will be active working to successfully execute human resources programs, initiatives, and policies to maintain equitable and consistent development and treatment of personnel at Brightkey.The ideal candidate will be experienced with working in a small company atmosphere, with your hands into everything, handling issues, addressing concerns, and completing the paperwork and entering information into the necessary databases to keep current. This is a very technical detail-oriented position, requiring meticulous attention to detail, supporting a large government contract.Highlights of what you will be doing in this role:
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering the company guidebook and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Works with operations in solving personnel issues and provides expert guidance to accelerate performance and to increase morale.
- Conducts exit interviews and exit analysis for trends and recommendations to foster positive employee relations.
- Performs internal investigations on labor relations issues, accident investigations, follows appropriate best practices.
- Generates internal documents such as Personal Action Forms (PAF), ensuring all appropriate fields are filled out.
- Maintains physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and records, including performance evaluations.
- Is an expert and lead user of the company’s Human Resources Information System (SilverBrook), generates and prepares reports and updates employee records.
- Generating internal documents such as Personal Action Forms (PAF), ensuring all appropriate fields are filled out.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
- 2 to 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist doing the full service of Human Resources.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
- Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
