Event Staff – Community Events
Part-Time | Various Locations Across NYC | $20/hr (Cash Payment)
Join Our Event Team!
We're hiring reliable, friendly, and energetic individuals to support our upcoming community events across New York City. This is a fun opportunity to be part of exciting events while helping create memorable experiences for families and children.
No experience necessary — we will train you!
Responsibilities can include:
- Wearing a mascot costume and interacting with guests (light movement required)
- Operating machines such as cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones
- Assisting with inflatables (bounce houses, obstacle courses, etc.)
- Event set-up and breakdown: tables, tents, signage, supplies
- Managing guest check-in and supporting various activity stations
- Monitoring event areas to ensure safety and crowd control
- Face painting (experience a plus, but not required)
- General support to ensure smooth event operations
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Punctual, dependable, and responsible
- Friendly, positive attitude and good with kids and families
- Able to follow directions and work well with a team
- Own transportation is a plus
- No experience necessary — training is provided
- Face painting experience is a plus
Pay:
$20/hour (paid in cash)
