Marketing and Business Development Manager

BASIC FUNCTION

Beit T'Shuvah is seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing and Business Development Manager to lead and manage our internal and external communications efforts, with an added focus on business development to drive growth for our SUD (Substance Use Disorder) residential treatment center. The Marketing and Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in telling the story of Beit T'Shuvah, elevating our brand, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling messaging across all platforms while supporting outreach and business development efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Content Creation & Strategy

· Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to elevate Beit T'Shuvah’s brand, mission, and vision, engaging a wide range of audiences, including donors, alumni, community partners, potential clients, and media.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders to craft messaging and content that targets new partnerships, referrals, and business opportunities for Beit T’Shuvah’s SUD residential treatment program.

· Create compelling, mission-driven content for platforms such as newsletters, annual reports, brochures, marketing materials, website copy, social media, and press releases, with a focus on supporting business development goals.

2. Business Development & Outreach Support

· Partner with the admissions and clinical team to align communication strategies with the goal of increasing referrals and expanding Beit T’Shuvah’s treatment services reach.

· Develop promotional materials, presentations, and content specifically aimed at cultivating relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and potential corporate partners.

· Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and promote new business opportunities, helping to position Beit T’Shuvah as a leader in the addiction recovery space.

· Attend networking events. Tour other treatment centers and facilities, and arrange tours for other providers at Beit T’Shuvah.

· Foster relationships with Education Consultants and Treatment Placement Specialists

· Help meet benchmarks for maintaining residential census

3. Digital & Social Media Management

· Manage and grow Beit T'Shuvah’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.) by creating regular posts, engaging with followers, and tracking engagement metrics, with an emphasis on reaching potential clients and referral partners.

· Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy that includes social media, email marketing, and online campaigns to increase awareness of Beit T’Shuvah’s treatment services, including its residential program.

· Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement, awareness, and referral outreach.

4. Public Relations & Media Outreach

· Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to generate positive media coverage for Beit T'Shuvah, with a particular focus on its role as a leading residential treatment center.

· Draft and pitch press releases, media alerts, and story ideas to local, regional, and national outlets that highlight Beit T'Shuvah’s business development efforts, treatment successes, and partnerships.

· Seek out opportunities to feature Beit T'Shuvah on relevant podcasts, blogs, and industry forums to increase visibility and credibility in the SUD treatment field.

5. Internal Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

· Ensure clear and consistent internal communications. Work with the Executive Management Team to keep staff and key stakeholders informed about events, business development initiatives, and growth strategies.

· Support fundraising and development efforts with communication strategies that engage potential donors, business partners, and volunteers.

· Create and manage content for annual reports, donor communications, marketing materials, and newsletters, ensuring that business development goals are highlighted.

6. Event Promotion & Community Engagement

· Collaborate with the events and development teams to promote Beit T'Shuvah’s programs, services, and key events, both online and through traditional media channels.

· Design and execute communication plans for key events, such as fundraisers, conferences, and community gatherings, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement, especially with potential partners and referral sources.

7. Brand Management & Consistency

· Ensure all communications and marketing materials are consistent with Beit T'Shuvah’s mission, values, and brand guidelines.

· Regularly evaluate and update the organization’s brand strategy and messaging to keep it fresh and aligned with Beit T’Shuvah’s evolving goals, particularly its expansion efforts in the treatment field.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and content that supports business development efforts.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing, SEO, and web content management.

· Experience with media relations, press outreach, and building relationships with journalists.

· Experience in business development or working closely with teams focused on growth, referrals, or partnerships.

· Proficiency in design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools) is a plus.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Passion for Beit T'Shuvah’s mission and Jewish values, with a deep understanding of addiction recovery, spiritual growth, and community building.

· Creative, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to think strategically.

· Non-profit experience is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic communications, marketing, and public relations, along with experience in business development. This individual should be a creative thinker, a skilled writer, organized, and able to manage the communication needs of several departments while contributing to Beit T’Shuvah’s growth strategy. The candidate should have a deep understanding of nonprofit communications and a vision for expanding Beit T’Shuvah’s influence, referrals, admissions and reach in the substance abuse treatment field.

· Experience working with Jewish organizations or understanding Jewish culture and values.

EDUCATION AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred.

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 annually depending on experience

Status: Full-Time/Exempt

Reports To: Executive Director

Benefits Offered: 10 paid holidays, paid time off. Medical, dental and vision insurance offered the first of the month following one-month waiting period. 401k with 50% company match offered the first of the month after five-month waiting period.
