Purpose and Mission
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of maintenance operators, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Supervision: Oversee and direct the daily activities of maintenance operators.
- Scheduling: Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Problem-Solving: Assist maintenance operators in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Training: Provide training and support to maintenance operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Coordination: Work with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Skills
- Mechanical Skills: Expertise in maintaining and repairing production machinery.
- Electrical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
- Welding Knowledge: Familiarity with welding processes for equipment repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Ability to implement and oversee routine maintenance schedules.
- Team Leadership: Strong skills in managing and motivating maintenance teams.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
- Problem-Solving: Quick identification and resolution of maintenance issues.
Previous Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maintenance or a related field
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
