Position Summary:
Bekins is looking for a Brand Manager to build business and create influential promotional campaigns. If you are a highly resourceful team player, who is adept to working in a dynamic environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, dedicated, and efficient this position is tailor made for you. It is Bekins’ goal to provide award winning customer service while providing employees with a stable environment focused on a healthy work/life balance. The new Marketing Manager will work a 45-hour week, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Follow marketing budget for public relations and marketing events
- Develop cohesive promotional campaigns across a variety of outlets
- Drive outreach to promotional and media partners to best place and develop promotions for maximum brand awareness
- Create advertising campaigns that cultivate the brand and bring awareness to new markets
- Contact builders and real estate agents to promote events and implement vendor promotions
- Organize events and handle matters expeditiously and proactively while following through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
- Complete critical aspects of routine tasks and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem solving, and making adjustments to plans
- Succinctly, accurately, and professionally communicate information verbally and in writing
- Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, promotions, and campaigns
- Utilize a variety of research methods and handle issues with little direction
- Enhance Bekins’ reputation by branding the company and explore new and different opportunities to add value to the brand
- Manage personnel including training, reviewing, developing and coaching
- Strive to make department and team organized and efficient
- Schedule and conduct regular department meetings.

Qualifications:
- Precision, accuracy, meticulous follow-through
- Advanced time management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to fluid schedules and priorities
- Minimum 3 years experience in marketing field
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of people including vendors, contractors, manufacturing representatives, co-workers, and a sophisticated customer base
- Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Forward looking, analytical thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Positive, upbeat, self-starting and can-do attitude
- Enthusiasm to help without being asked and skilled at anticipating needs
- Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
