Tool and Die Expert

Responsibilities

1. Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards.
2. Plan and Execute Machining Tasks: Study work orders, blueprints, and specifications; interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
3. Configure and Operate CNC Machines: Enter instructions, set parameters, and verify settings for mills and lathes.
4. Maintain Quality Standards: Observe operations, take measurements, troubleshoot processes, and adhere to quality assurance procedures.
5. Meet Production Goals: Achieve cycle time, quantity, and quality targets.
6. Perform Preventative Maintenance: Ensure good quality and safe operation of equipment.
7. Collaborate with Teams: Work with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report material shortages.
8. Operate Power Equipment: Use forklifts, cranes, and other equipment as needed.
