Summary:

This position is responsible for supervising and leading a small team of attendants who will provide exceptional cleaning and maintenance of the Mens Locker Room, Fitness Center, Club Cabanas, restrooms and other common areas in the Lower Club on the Beach. The ideal candidate will provide effective leadership to a team of 2-3 cleaning attendants and is responsible for hands-on cleaning and maintenance as well. The desired goal is for the team to reflect the highest level of cleaning and customer services standards to our members and guests.

Essential Functions:

-Lead a team of 2-3 Locker Room Attendants and ensure accountability for Locker Room, Fitness and other common areas.
-Ensure that cleanliness and appearance meets Distinguished Emerald Award Winning standards.
-Manage towel and supply maintenance for above areas and plan inventory usages.
which include: restocking of supplies on a daily basis, soaps, paper products, toiletries.
-Ensure cleanliness of shower stalls, sinks, and toilets on a daily basis and when needed.
-Ensure cleanliness of carpet and tile floors on a daily basis and when needed.
-Ensure cleanliness of Club Cabanas, Handicap Restrooms, Fitness Center and other areas daily.
-Ensure Club and Beach Rules in Locker Room and Fitness areas are met.
-Manage Lost & Found items effectively with Security team.
-Create effective reporting and communication processes of all issues relating to Men's Locker Room and Fitness Room to Manager.
-Position duties may include any other tasks as deemed necessary by managers, in order to fulfill the obligations of the Club

Work Hours:
This position is an hourly, non exempt FT position with a work schedule normally Wed-Sunday from 6am - 2:30pm and may vary during summer season. Weekends and holidays are required.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
At least 2 years of previous custodial and/or housekeeping supervisory experience.
Previous experience is preferable in a hotel, custodial company or resort/club setting.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication
High level of professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to follow directions well, use sound judgment, multi task and organizational skills
High School diploma or equivalent

Physical demands and work environment:

Physical:

• Able to stand for long hours, bending, lifting and reaching over.
• Ability to use hands, fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear.
• Occasionally lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Satisfactory auditory abilities are required.

Environmental Factors:

• The employee is exposed to working around inside and outside environmental conditions in high temperatures, and cold temperatures.
