Senior Internal Auditor (Hybrid)

Ready to be an integral member of the Internal Audit team? As the Senior Internal Auditor, you will assist in the management of the company's internal and external audit activities for the United States and Mexico sites. Utilizing the department's electronic workpaper system, your project management skills and high degree of judgment and initiative, you will ensure financial regulatory requirements are met.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist the Director of Internal Audit to design and execute audit programs to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulatory requirements. Document the processes and test key internal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley for US and Mexico
• Assist the Director of Internal Audit in the development of the internal audit risk assessment on an annual basis
• Manage any external consultants that are engaged to assist in the field work
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Present information to, and respond to questions from, internal customers
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situation where only limited standardization exists
• Serves as an internal consultant to various local Finance teams to evaluate processes and procedures
• Evaluate organizational needs and drives improvements in business processes to eliminate waste and improve overall controls
• Travel to sites within the US and the occasional travel to Mexico
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of projects and departmental goals and objectives
