Job Summary:
Purchase and stock all repair parts for machines.
Purchase and stock all consumables (production, maintenance, quality, shipping, etc.) for Plant.
Find new suppliers and negotiate to keep prices competitive.
Locate requested items and find best price available.
Establish accounts with new suppliers.
Track shipments to ensure prompt delivery for deadlines.
Keep inventory of all parts in stock, including consumables.
Keep minimum levels of inventory to eliminate downtime.
Receive purchased parts and consumables.
Stock received items.
Follow and track all budgets for consumable purchases.(production, maintenance, quality.)
Assist maintenance personnel with finding parts, identifying parts, and training on maintenance management software.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and / or GED equivalent required.
1-2 years of experience with industrial parts ordering
Must have: Work well with others, good organizational skills, computer skills (Microsoft Office), common knowledge of mechanical/electrical parts
Flexible for weekend inventories and off shift training. Autonomy and reporting own activities
Nice to have: Software knowledge using a Computerized Maintenance Management System such as Corim and SAP, technical knowledge of process machinery, food industry a plus
