What are the responsibilities and job description for the TO-GO SPECIALIST position at BELAIR CANTINA?
The To-Go Specialist position is responsible for coordinating the To-Go food business by consistently following our food and beverage quality standards, processes, and procedures to accommodate to-go orders for Guests. This includes taking accurate orders by telephone or in-person, taking accurate orders for online delivery / pickup platforms, organizing food orders, and delivering to guests. Assembles prepare food, drinks, and condiments in to-go containers to ensure food transport is complete, clean, and safe for guests. The To-Go specialist is responsible for delivering a fun and satisfying To-Go dining experience to Guests.

Requirements :
High School degree or equivalent preferred.
Minimum six months serving experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume full-service restaurant.
Responsibilities :
Explains menu items and offers appropriate suggestions to Guests.
Performs Guest services by taking orders, serving food and beverages to the Guests promptly, and following the standards set by the restaurant.
Safely handles food prep equipment such as knives, coffee maker, hot food, etc.
Uses the POS (Point of Sale) system effectively and accurately.
Must maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary workstation.
Able to transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate guest / delivery driver.
Must be able to communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds and put guests at ease.
Must be able to communicate and interact with co-workers in high-stress time effectively.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time, and have the ability to accurately handle money, make changes, and process credit card transactions.
Able to adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts, training, and required meetings.
Operate and participate effectively in a team environment.
Physical Effort Lifting- up to 10lbs constantly, up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally.
Lifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead frequently.
Exposed to cleaning chemicals.
Color and depth perception is required for vision. Needs both near and far vision.
Twists and reaches constantly.
Grasps objects to move or manipulate them constantly.
Stands and walks constantly inside and outside the restaurant
May be exposed to environmental heat and cold conditions
Listen to and comprehends instructions from Guests and coworkers over background restaurant and equipment noise constantly.
Frequent hand washing is required.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Must adhere to company uniform and appearance policy.
