What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Belair Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
The Belair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in North Bellmore, is seeking a part-time RN (Registered Nurse) to join their growing team! This is a part-time day shift (7 am - 3 pm) role that operates on a rotating weekend schedule. Come join an industry-leading facility!
What you will Do:
1. Hold daily shift reports with nursing assistants assigned to the unit before the start of the shift. Review written daily assignments for each resident on the assigned unit. Assure assignments are completed before the end of the shift.
2. Make rounds on assigned residents at least once every two hours.
3. Administer medication and treatments according to the physician's orders. Assume responsibility for ordering medications.
4. Collaborate with Care Plan Coordinator to develop and maintain nursing care plans and update these plans every month or more often if the resident's condition
What you will Need: An active RN license in the State of New York
