System Engineer

Belay Technologies is seeking a System Engineer to join our intel team This SE1 must have a strong background in Linux engineering, administration and troubleshooting and the ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently (leadership & self-motivated).

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science
• Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  
  

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Proficient in Linux (CentOs & Rocky)
• Database Management (SQL)
• Knowledgeable of Security Accreditation & Risk Management Framework
• Networking Knowledge
• Dell Hardware Knowledge
• Cybersecurity Basics
• Should be Security CE Certified Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line, troubleshooting
  
  

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Linux systems (CentOS & Rocky ) engineering/administration
• Risk Management Framework
• System integration/administration experience
• Ability to work independently/self-motivated
• Dell Hardware and Cybersecurity Basics
• Puppet, Ansible scripting

Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000
