JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for developing, conducting, analyzing, and managing engine structures & dynamics validation tests
* Evaluate complex structural failure modes and provide technical guidance/expertise to drive NTI, NPI, and CPI product solutions.
* Utilizing data acquisition systems (eDAQ, LMS, cDAQ), analyzing data (linear vibration, stress/strain, ME-SCOPE, LMS), performing modal testing, coordination of design and procurement of prototype hardware, and setting up test (instrumentation & gaging as appropriate).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Four-year Engineering degree and experience in any of the following areas: structural dynamics/vibration, NVH testing, structural simulation
* Basic understanding of internal combustion engines & machinery
* Strong initiative with good technical communication skills
* An understanding of customer needs and product application are a must
* Ability to networking and building strong relationship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with working experience in dynamics, vibrations, or modal testing
* 3 years of engine development and testing experience
* Understanding structural dynamics/vibration, NVH testing, structural simulation
* Ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency in validation, champion new initiatives, effectively multitask on multiple engine programs, and work collaboratively with multiple team
