JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate QC laboratory equipment
* Complete sample testing on time and accurately with quality and food safety in mind
* Assist Operations team with investigative testing and root cause determinations.
* Complete individual and group projects for the lab and Quality department
* Disposition failing and aged material appropriately to ensure food safety and quality of inventory is maintained
* Perform QC equipment checks and calibrations
* Maintain proper storage and organization of QC product retains
* Assist the quality and food safety team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate's degree in related field
* Ability to understand technical properties and functional ingredients
* Working awareness of good laboratory practices
*Ability to prioritize work independently, with minimal supervision to plan, organize and execute effectively
* Demonstrated capacity to excel in a fast-paced work environment
* Proficient in computer processes and Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills
