At Belcan, we are looking for an expert in HSE to support our client in implementing and training on corporate, OSHA, and EPA regulations at their plant site in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with HSE best practices.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating equipment, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations. This involves conducting job hazard analyses, identifying and correcting risk factors, and supporting the implementation of an HSE management system.
You will also be responsible for conducting ergonomic inspections and training employees on ESH management forms, tools, and procedures. Additionally, you will provide technical support for risk assessment, regulatory compliance calendars, corrective and preventive actions, and management reviews.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health, environmental science, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience operating in a HSE program in manufacturing, warehousing, or laboratory settings is also required.
Familiarity with OSHA general industry standards, particularly those related to safety, industrial hygiene, and occupational health, is essential for success in this role.
