What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Scheduling Specialist position at Belcan?
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Belcan. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance work using the SAP module in our Automated Maintenance Management (AMM) system.
Your primary objective will be to utilize and maintain the Maintenance Management System to schedule maintenance work and the Preventive Maintenance Program. This includes creating preventative maintenance task lists and plans for associated equipment, working with the maintenance workforce and technicians on the floor, and developing and maintaining a complete Maintenance library of all project files, equipment maintenance and operating manuals, drawings, and catalogs.
In this role, you will also coordinate with project teams to ensure maintenance activities align with project timelines and objectives. Additionally, you will scrutinize parts lists for accuracy and appropriate stocking levels based on use, manufacture recommendations, critical spares, and current and newly installed equipment.
You will monitor and track project progress, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed on time and within budget. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any maintenance-related issues that may impact project timelines. Lastly, you will provide regular updates and reports on maintenance and project activities to management.
