JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping
* Provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems
* Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associates degree in a technical field or comparable long-standing work experience
* BS degree in a Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology discipline preferred
* Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.
* Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
* Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing position
* Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience
