Job Summary :
Belcan is seeking a Leader for a full-time, direct position in Columbus, GA. Candidates must possess a BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience. This leadership role involves steering a team and handling Statement of Work (SOW) tasks. The ideal candidate should be an energetic engineer, capable of team leadership and development, and possess a good understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include effectively navigating through challenges, multitasking, and confidently engaging with customer leadership to secure additional projects. A strong inclination towards mentoring and team building is essential.
Job Duties :
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and support staff to complete SOW tasks and objectives.
- Regularly interact with customers to ensure timely and quality completion of workload.
- Engage with senior customer leaders to explore further work opportunities.
- Manage recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff, coordinating with HR.
- Handle administrative tasks like ordering equipment and arranging system access for team members.
- Mentor and guide new employees in manufacturing and project-related areas.
- Set work priorities, approve timecards, and address daily operational issues.
- Collaborate with MSCS team members in other factories for team training enhancement.
