JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Will be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will use your skills and expertise to install, maintain and repair ordnance related equipment, aircraft armament weapons systems, eggress systems, and crew escape safety systems.Responsible for employing appropriate safety precautions, security procedures, and record-keeping techniques.Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and stepsFrequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterityFrequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colorsFrequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumesFrequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbsFrequently exposed to outdoor elements (high / low temperatures, sun, rain / snow, etc.)Frequently exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals / materialsFrequently exposed to loud noisesResponsible for the safety or security of people or propertyInspects, handles, or transports explosives, dangerous or hazardous materialsInspects structures, equipment or vehiclesPerforms aviation related dutiesOperate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machineryREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be a US CitizenAbility to Obtain and Maintain Secret ClearanceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 15 or more years of relevant experienceA higher-level degree may substitute for experience ORRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationProficiency in avionics installation tooling, ordnance related equipment and aircraft armament weapons systemsExpert knowledge of wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation, ordnance installation, repair and maintenanceExperience with soldering and crimping techniquesAdvanced understanding of ejection seats, SUU-20's, MK-81's, BDU's, and rocket podsExtensive flight line experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
