We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe System Engineer to join our team. This is a contract position that will involve designing and implementing piping systems for various industrial projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and engineering principles, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement piping systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and construction field coordinators to define project implementation requirements.
* Develop equipment and material take-off and specifications.
* Conduct surveys and field verifications as required to support project design.
Requirements
* Associate degree in Drafting/Design Technology or equivalent.
* Excellent MicroStation CADD operating skills.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and civil design practices and regulations related to system design and equipment layout.
* In-depth knowledge of design codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ADA, ASME).
* Previous manufacturing experience, particularly with process-related equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Leica 3D Point Cloud Scanner with Leica Register 360 Software Experience desired.
* Good communication skills.
