JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Research & evaluate new electrical control devices & technologies.
- Responsible for specifying electrical hardware and control devices based on the application requirements : this includes PLC hardware components and IO modules, servo and VFD controllers and field IO devices.
- Work as team lead for the design of complete controls solutions for complex automated systems.
- Apply kinematic equations of motion to develop material handling algorithms and timing parameters for controls.
- Develop and implement machine control software based on Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens and / or other industrial control platforms.
- Responsible for the electrical design of control panels for research and development projects using AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop detailed documentation for the transition of R&D products to production and deployment groups.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of customers" operations and specifications.
- Understand complex systems and processes in high-level of detail.
- Willingness to travel (less than 25%)
