Responsibilities & Duties:

- Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions, and provide information
- Protecting transport vehicle when delivering product to prevent theft and ensure safe delivery
- Monitoring state of the art surveillance system
- Entry screening and check-in process
- Maintain visitor log and provide escort to visitors when required
- Maintain activity log
- Maintain a clean work area in the security office
- Other duties as assigned
- Report irregular activities, such as property damage, theft, unauthorized personnel, disturbances, hazards, and suspicious activities to the Security Manager and/or local police when required
- At least two years of law enforcement/security firm experience
- At least 21 years of age with the ability to obtain and retain a Missouri Agent ID
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
- Clear and concise communication
- Ability to lift over thirty pounds
- Ability to reach/work above the shoulder
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of times
- $20.00 per hour base
