The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), contributing to positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating patients/residents to collect data and report changes in condition.
- Contributing to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintaining current BLS/CPR certification.
