Job Description
Beleza Plastic Surgery & Medi-Spa, the office of board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Anna I. Wooten, is looking for an aesthetic medical assistant to assist Dr. Wooten with patient care, CoolSculpting, skincare consultations, DiamondGlow facials, SkinPen micro-needling facials and more.
Outside of aesthetic treatments, aesthetician would stock rooms, assist in marketing, answer phones, and generally support medical office operations. This includes :
- Scheduling appointments for patients,
- Showing patients to examination rooms and prepare them for their appointment,
- Interviewing patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height,
- Performing nicotine tests and pregnancy tests,
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a medical provider
- Explaining treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients
- Helping medical providers examine and treat patients
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations; keeping the rooms neat and clean,
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and disposing of contaminated supplies,
- Additional responsibilities would include greeting and logging in patients arriving at office and performing general office support duties, such as answering telephones or assisting with check-out.
Experience in aesthetics or medical assisting preferred. We are willing to train.
Working schedule is M-F. Office hours are 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM. Hours can be tailored to the individual. We are open to starting someone at part-time and building up to full-time.

Qualifications
The Aesthetic Medical Assistant may spend long hours standing and may perform physical activities to include but not limited to lifting, moving of supplies and materials which may cause muscle strain. This position requires normal vision, hearing and / or the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Pay : $14.00 - $22.00 per hour - we believe in paying additional bonus based on excellent performance.
