Belfast Community Co-op, whose mission is to bring locally sourced, reasonably priced, organic and natural products to all, is looking for a Store Assistant to join our team!
Starting at $16.12, this is a Full Time position (30 hours weekly)
Store Assistants are cross-trained to provide dynamic support in clerk roles throughout the Co-op. Duties might include cashiering, stocking, facing, receiving, cleaning and sanitizing, food prep, shoveling snow, and packaging bulk products. Store Assistants have a global view of the store and can jump in where needed to support the team. Depending on store needs, you will be scheduled to work full or partial shifts in specific departments, or open shifts supporting various departments throughout the day. As part of the Store Assistant team, you'll be expected to reach proficiency in advanced processes as trained, communicate effectively, and perform miscellaneous tasks as directed.

Preferred (but not required) Skills:
- Knowledge of Cooperative Principles and Business module
- Experience with ECRS Catapult
- Ability to use POS and spreadsheet programs
- Familiarity with natural foods and retail concepts
