What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Tech - Kansas City position at Belfonte Ice Cream?
Belfonte is currently looking for a Lab Tech personal but also willing to help out on production line when needed. This is a Monday - Friday position with some weekends and overtime required. Start time is 7am to finish.
Applicant is prefeed to but not required to have Bachelor of Science.
Lab Tech shall be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Raw milk analysis
- Ice Cream mix analysis
- Inoculation of buttermilk
- Gathering production samples
The applicant must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. Applicant will be required to work in very hot (100 degrees) to very cold (32 degrees) environment and may be required to move heavy objects up to 225lbs.
Applicant must keep lab area clean and sanitary.
