Position Overview
General duties include knowledge of ergonomic practices and be able to perform physically changeling work such as weeding, pruning and fertilization, annual planting and spreading mulch. Must be able to operate lawn cutting equipment, trimming devices and other basic landscaping equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS
- Report to and follow the directions of the grounds supervisor.
- Effectively communicate with management, peers, supervisors, clients and vendors.
- Moving large quantities of mulch, top soil, pavers and stone with appropriate equipment.
- Move shrubs, trees, plants and be able to properly maintain them.
- Mowing grass, operating string trimmers around mulch beds, edging sidewalks and curbs and blow clipping from paved surfaces.
- Immediately report all accidents, incidents, damages and client concerns to your supervisor.
- Maintain a truck, clean all tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store in their proper place.
- Load and unload supplies and equipment.
- Work in multiple locations.
- Adhere to all applicable safety practices.
- Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
- Ensure facilities are clean, projecting a positive image of the Company.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
