Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Restoration Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing tasks related to water damage restoration, including pumping and extracting water, mold removal, and using specialized equipment under supervision. The ideal candidate will have a customer service focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to water damage restoration, including pumping and extracting water, mold removal, and using specialized equipment under supervision.
- Maintain equipment used in daily tasks, including debris removal, carpet seam cutting, and moisture measurements.
- Evaluate the integrity of affected structural materials and contents for direct and indirect water damage.
- Lead and/or self-perform water damage basic tasks, including water pumping and extraction, moving and re-setting contents, setting drying equipment, and antimicrobial applications as appropriate.
- Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain equipment used in daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks related to pumping and extracting water, mold removal, and using specialized equipment under supervision.
- English language literacy and fluency.
- Ability to use mobile devices for data collection and time tracking.
- Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.
