Job Responsibilities
- Drive a school bus safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Board and discharge student passengers in a safe and orderly manner.
- Transport students, staff, and chaperones on field trips, athletic activities, and other special events.
- Enforce District policies and procedures related to transportation and maintain discipline on buses.
- Prepare daily reports of mileage, time, and student loads.
- Maintain bus cleanliness, including washing, as needed.
- Perform minor bus maintenance checks and report maintenance needs.
- Rendesr first aid or emergency assistance as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Montana commercial driver's license.
- Successful work experience demonstrating dependability and reliability.
- Satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student matters.
