SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
· Deliver and report on speech therapy treatment for all clients
· Maintain accurate documentation of treatment within company timelines
· Utilize evidence-based practice and skills to assess, plan, and implement interventions
· Ensure that clients and families receive the highest quality of care through a caring and compassionate approach to services
· Work with other health care professions, providing education and training as required
· Maintain client confidentiality and follow all HIPAA and company policies and procedures
· Train new speech therapy team members on job post functions
· Maintain safety of clients and staff by following all cleaning policies and procedures
· Collaborate with the Quality Manager for clinical in-services and continuing education
· Perform other duties as delegated, required or requested
Requirements
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Must be licensed as required in the state of Texas
· New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
· Maintain current CPR certification
· Strong collaboration skills and motivation to work with people at all levels
· Must be able to manage self by statistics and abide by conditions
· Candidates must be willing and eager to work with adult and pediatric populations.
