What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Administrator PLM position at Belk Merchandising LLC?
Job Functions
- Advance Ship Notice tolerance corrections and reporting
- Purchase order creation, maintenance, and error triage
- System user profile management (internal and external users)
- Agent, Vendor and Factory record additions and updates
- Mass Style Upload spreadsheet maintenance and style uploads as needed
- Additions and updates to various application support tables
- Adhoc system generated reporting
- Creation of and updates to system training materials
- Answering end User ‘how to’ questions
- New vendor training
- Avery Dennison purchase order portal first point of contact
- Support and maintain Private Brands / PLM product development process
- Maintain a good working knowledge of all product development cross functional teams (design, sourcing, technical design, buying and Belk International accounting)
- Maintain a good working knowledge of all systems used in the product development process (APX, BIS, Lawson, RMS foundation and RMS purchase order)
- Assist with system development and system update testing
Education / Experience Requirements:
Position Contribution Level :
Minimum Education & Experience:
- High school diploma
- 1-3 years experience in a merchandising or merchandise support role
- Functional understanding of retail business processes
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
- Experience in database administration preferred
- Experience with Bamboo Rose PLM or like Product Lifecycle Management systems preferred
Knowledge / Skills Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel and Access; understanding of retail store operations
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite of applications
