Mow Crew Member

Belknap Landscape is seeking experienced team players to join our mow crew. We have full-time, part-time, seasonal, and year-round positions available.

Our ideal candidate is reliable, personable, and possesses a strong work ethic. You'll be working and growing with a team of like-minded individuals doing a variety of tasks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Commercial and residential lawn maintenance
• Mowing, trimming, mulching, plantings, spring/fall clean-ups
• Edging, pruning, weeding, turf and plant management
• General landscaping activities
• If applicable snowplowing and shoveling during the winter months

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• NHLA Certification (not required but a plus)
• Experience Lawn Mowing (not required but a plus)
• Experience using a backpack blower (not required but a plus)
• Experience using a weedwhacker (not required but a plus)

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Valid Drivers License Required, company will help employees obtain DOT Medical Card
• Must be able to operate general maintenance equipment and vehicles
• The ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Must be 18 years of age
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to your team
• A strong work ethic and demonstrated reliability
• 2 years of professional mowing experience with push, riding, and zero-turn mowers is required

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly exposed to extreme temperatures and various weather conditions.
• Frequently required to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Often required to reach above and below shoulder level.
• Frequent hand manipulation is needed for grasping, handling objects, and operating controls.
• Frequent bending and squatting, with occasional twisting and kneeling.
