Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality client care through accurate assessments and effective treatment modalities
- Establishing strong relationships with clients, their families, and the healthcare community
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA privacy laws
- Communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations and quality care
- Documenting trips accurately and completely
- Maintaining station and squad equipment, ensuring safety and proper functioning
- Participating in the pit stop process to ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are present
- Obtaining and maintaining required licensures and training
- Operating company vehicles safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current/valid State of Wisconsin Paramedic license
- Current/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar certification
- Current/valid Driver's License
- NREMT license desirable but not required
- 2 years of experience in a Paramedic role
- Critical Care accreditation highly desirable
