JOB SUMMARY:
The team member is responsible for performing all duties, including but not limited to prepping and stocking micro market, hot food line, and/or sandwich/salad station, following all recipes as provided by the café, and assisting in other kitchen areas such as restocking and cleaning. Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced by immediately addressing any safety and/or quality concerns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Prep and stock micro market daily.
- Rotate items according to dates following product guidelines.
- Maintain food cases with regards to product and rotation.
- Put away product orders that are delivered.
- Maintain beverage areas with beverages and supplies.
- Produce various food products following recipe book provided by café.
- Follow prep list and maintain pars of on hand products.
- Assist kitchen in areas as needed, such as restocking and cleanliness.
- Serve TMs on hot line, grill and/or sandwich/salad stations.
- Properly use and clean all equipment within the kitchen.
- Complete monthly training as dictated by company policies.
- Ability to operate register or dishwashing station as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience is preferred, but not required for this position. No formal education is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.
