Summary:
The Plant 3 Director of Operations leads the operations of the assigned area by creating and implementing growth strategies and plans. This position will set current and long-term goals and KPIs for the Operations Team as well as collaborate with the rest of the organization. This role reports to the VP of Operations and works closely with HR, FSQA, Maintenance, Sanitation, Scheduling, Warehouse, and Transportation. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the budget, ensuring the budget aligns with the strategic objectives of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan the vision for the department.
- Establish and report to the Leadership team on the KPIs of the area.
- Coaching, training, and developing the Operations team to promote development and meaningful contribution to company growth and initiatives.
- Prioritize projects and align resources accordingly.
- Participate in the supply planning process to ensure supply is aligned with the business development strategy.
- Ensure product is produced in compliance with internal specifications, customer expectations, and government regulations.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Support program development, implementation, and verification of processes.
Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 10 years experience in a leadership role, or a director or superintendent level role, is preferred. Continue to expand knowledge through relevant learning platforms.
