Job Summary:
The evisceration production worker will be responsible for the inspecting, hanging and processing of birds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned
- Work at the pace of the production line.
- Hangs chicken by two legs assuring all birds are hung up.
- Responsible of making sure machinery has properly opened the birds; if not scissors the use of scissors is required to perform the task.
- Pinning feathers
- Inspecting inside of the birds for contamination.
- Cutting of broken deficiencies marked by trimmers using a knife.
- Reprocessing birds that can be salvaged using both knifes and scissors.
- Check finished product for contamination prior to QA performing tests.
- Using a lung gun to suction out marked birds.
Education and Experience (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews):
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
