JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Director leads a variety of critical recruiting, team member relations, growth and development, and compliance functions in support of the overall organization. This leadership role will need to work independently to effectively create and implement strategy to support team members, leadership, and business priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve as key partner with plant and business leaders for people and compliance strategy.
- Lead projects and continuous improvement efforts for internal, external, and compliance programs such as compensation and benefits, HRIS and payroll, team member relations, compliance, and growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with key local, state, and federal laws.
- Lead the HR team in improving service delivery and partnership with the business.
- Coach, train, and develop the Human Resources team to promote personal development and meaningful contribution to company growth and initiatives.
- Set department specific goals and report to the Leadership team on critical KPI’s.
- Prioritize projects and align resources accordingly.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10 years of HR experience in multiple functions.
- 10 years of compliance-related experience.
- 5 years of leadership experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
