JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, stocking, and staging frozen product for customer orders. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the organization of products within the freezer to ensure that the product that is being shipped to customers is of the highest quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Organize product within the freezer; making the product that is most ready for shipment easily accessible.
- Ensure that all product within the freezer is correctly and clearly labeled with the item number and code date.
- Pick all frozen orders for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Store product in the freezer at its designated location by operating a high reach forklift, while adhering to the company’s safety requirements when operating the high reach forklift and pallet jacks
- While organizing the freezer, the Warehouse Associate will be required to optimize pallet positions by ensuring the pallets are consolidated properly by item number and code dates.
- Periodically perform cycle counts and inventory related functions.
- Other duties may be assigned at the request of the Shipping Supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.
Monday-Thursday (6am-4:30pm)
