Accounting Coordinator

We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator. This person assists with managing the company's financial transactions related to vendor payments and expenses. Their responsibilities include:
• Processing invoices: Ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconciling statements: Reconciling vendor statements and discrepancies
• Bank reconciliation: identifying discrepancies and correcting errors
• Preparing payments: Preparing payments and cutting checks
• Maintaining records: Maintaining accurate financial records and databases
• Monitoring expenses: Monitoring expenses and keeping a record for tax purposes
• Supporting the accounting & related departments: Assisting the accounting department in preparing financial statements; Working closely with other departments
• Resolving payment issues: Reaching out to vendors to resolve payment issues or questions
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable: Tracking & Monitoring customer payments
Required skills and qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Superb time management skills and detail orientation
• Working knowledge and experience with MS Excel
Preferred skills and qualifications
• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• Experience with service/sales industries preferred, not required
• Experience in bookkeeping & accounts payable (or accounts receivable)
• Experience with accounting software and online platforms, Netchex experience a plus
Salary : $16 - $24
