Accounting Manager
$90-110k plus 7-10% bonus
Knightdale, NC (100% on site)
Bell & Associates has been engaged to find our client their next Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Accounting team and works in close conjunction with multiple departments within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Inventory, Sales Programming, and General Ledger functions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Consolidated Financial Statements as well as quarterly reporting to Parent Company
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and accounting standards (GAAP)
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to support business decisions
- Assist with Companies budgeting and forecasting process
- Coordinate and support annual financial reviews, audits, and tax preparations with external Auditors
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional development and team collaboration.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
- Prepare Budget-to-Actual report and other ad-hoc reports as required
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Active CPA license preferred
- Previous supervisory experience
- SAP experience (or similar ERP) required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP
- Experience utilizing a CRM tool
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
