Bell & Associates is seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist.
The selected candidate will conduct outreach (calls and emails) with potential customers, and work closely with the sales and applications engineers, assisting them as needed with proposals or presentations, and marketing items.
In addition to driving direct Sales, the selected candidate is responsible for gathering and consolidating market insights and would work together with the Business Development and Marketing Team to help steer promotion activities to increase sales opportunity and market share.
Initiate front-end discussions with potential customers, making phone calls, and sending emails, to get our foot in the door, and working with our current group of engineers, assisting them as needed; potentially proposals or presentations, and assisting with Marketing items.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Present and promote products and services to end users, engineers and consultants for various industries.
- Gather customer requirements, identify purchase decision criteria and key influencers
- Collaborate with Sales Application Engineers to prepare solution concepts which will meet customer requirements and position to win the business
- Present proposals to customers and concurrently advance multiple, long term opportunities to closure
- Expand network of contacts and influencers, promoting products and services.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to; respond to leads / inquiries, track and update opportunities, update contacts and communications.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to guide preparation of sales tools and marketing communications messaging to support direct sales activities as well as promotion of Product, Services and Brand into the marketplace
- Participate in regional meetings of targeted trade associations / groups representing on committees, working groups as well as at exhibitions and events
- Working together with Business Development, Marketing and Management team, prepare comprehensive strategic sales plan, identifying targeted accounts / applications and goals.
- Provide update on a quarterly basis with progress towards goals and suggested changes to strategies and tactics
