We are partnering with a well-established company in Memphis, TN, to help them find a highly skilled Controller to lead their accounting and finance operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional with 10 years of experience, a CPA certification, and prior Big 4 experience to play a critical role in the organization’s financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company financial policies.
- Manage and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise financial statements.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
- Oversee ERP and financial system integrations to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPA certification highly preferred
- 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Big 4 public accounting experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Salary : $155,000 - $185,000
