Purchasing Manager

$90-110k with 10% bonus
Bell and Associates is partnering with a local privately held, industry leading manufacturing company in their search for their next Purchasing Manager. This role will manage a team of 3 direct reports and oversee all purchasing activities for the company. Ideal candidate is someone who has previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates all activities pertaining to purchasing, stocking, and distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery, parts, tools, services, and supplies for all manufacturing locations
- Prepares and implements policies and procedures
- Directs and coordinates issuance of purchase orders and change notices
- Oversees purchasing staff
- Maintains professional vendor relationships
- Negotiates prices, services, and contracts pertaining to all procurement and purchasing operations
- Identifies cost savings initiatives
Qualifications
- 10 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory experience
- Effective negotiating skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
