Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a role in managing our accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, overseeing all cash and banking transactions, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in our financial operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid background in accounting and a strong desire to grow within a dynamic corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable/Payable Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of AR and AP, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and account reconciliations.
- Cash and Banking Transactions: Manage all cash and banking transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of all accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review detailed financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Detail-Oriented Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Support various ad hoc accounting projects and tasks as needed, contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, and assist with audits and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with accounting principles and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance accounting practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on AR/AP, cash/banking transactions, and financial analysis. Experience in manual labor industries is a plus but not required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
