Job Summary :
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for owning the full process from needs origination to offer and hire. Position will serve as a steward and ambassador of Bell Bank and will lead recruiting efforts on assigned openings within the organization while also positioning him or herself across respective divisions as a talent advisor and consultant. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be process and detailed oriented, exude an ability to form relationships with the talent community and business partners and will be tasked with providing a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist reflects the ability to lead, advise, and to solve problems with a creative and customer first mindset.
Primary Duties :
- Manage the full recruiting cycle from needs origination to hire including scheduling, interviewing, and offer creation.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting & sourcing methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Promote and support workplace diversity.
- Develop relationships with key business leaders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their department's forecasted hiring needs.
- Serve as the primary POC for all things relative to recruiting, staffing and placement of talent within their respective division.
- Serve as systems and process experts, utilizing the tools to further refine and enhance a recruitment process based in service and advisement.
- Serve as a proactive resource, identifying challenges / pain points and providing solutions in advance
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs.
- Screen resumes and job applications, conduct phone interviews, and manage candidates throughout interview process.
- Act as the main point of contact during the selection / interview process.
- Follow up on interview statuses and update records in the HRIS software.
- Coordinate and schedule pre-employment assessments, if needed.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and / or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer, negotiating employment terms, and reviewing benefits with the applicant.
- Perform background checks on prospective employees.
- Check references for prospective employees.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports.
- Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications, if needed.
- Assist with new hire orientation, if needed.
- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.

- Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
