Bell Bros has an immediate need for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Associate/ Driver. The successful candidate must be able plan, direct, and administer all aspects of the warehouse department, including purchasing, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, equipment, and supplies. Oversees warehouse procedures and practices. This is an hourly, nonexempt, at-will position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establishes procedures for all warehouse operations, including verification of incoming and outgoing deliveries, handling of material, and maintaining warehouse inventory

· Oversees general warehouse policies and procedures

· Makes policy changes as deemed necessary to maximize efficiency

· Keeps-up to date on stock and inventories warehoused in the facility, research and purchase special inventory not commonly stocked in-house

· Purchase products and inventory to support plumbing department, carefully select and negotiate with product suppliers that will meet the quality, cost and delivery schedules

· Inspects physical condition of the warehouse and ensures inventory is properly placed and labeled

· Reports warehouse activities, such as production, sales, invoices, and purchasing information to Department Managers

· Coordinate with office and field staff regarding job details and part status

· Supervise warehouse staff and assigns tasks

· Provides feedback and participates in performance evaluations of warehouse personnel

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of inventory control methods and procedures
• Must be able to organize and control inventoried items
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff
• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Able to safely lift up to 100lbs, able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, squat
• Use of ladders 4ft. and 6 ft
• Operate forklift

GROOMING:

Well-Groomed Appearance (upon hire) – a business-like haircut, clean shaven (i.e.: no beards or mustaches), no visible tattoos (i.e.: on hands, fingers, neck and ears)

WORK CONDITIONS:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Clean driving record to met our insurance standards
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
• Moderate exposure to physical risk
• Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
