Job Summary
Seeking experienced heavy equipment operator with a Class A CDL for roadway paving and runway construction on military installations and federal highway construction projects. Each operator will be responsible for operating various equipment such as rollers, graders, pavers, and excavators. Each operator is expected to complete all duties and responsibilities with reasonable accommodations if necessary. Bell Contracting Inc does not pay for relocation expenses.
Primary duties and responsibilities include,
- Operate various heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and graders according to project plans and safety standards.
- Operate other equipment as required.
- Perform manual labor as necessary.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained to preserve performance and longevity.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times, including the use of spotters when necessary.
- Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.
- Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
