The purpose of this position is to support the accounting department by performing basic accounting duties, processing documents, and performing clerical tasks.

The purpose of this position is to support the accounting department by performing basic accounting duties, processing documents, and performing clerical tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
- Performs accounts payable duties such as processing vendor invoices and preparing payments.
- Performs accounts receivable duties such as tracking customer payments.
- Transaction processing includes processing and recording transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
- Compile financial data for the external audit as needed.
- Ensures compliance with accounting procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate communication with clients, vendors and upper management.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work within strict time constraints
- Ability to prioritize work
- Organized and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 12 months of accounting or bookkeeping experience
